The widows and orphans in Mukoma are cut off from foreign aid due to their geographical location on the remote shore of Lake Kivu. Even 15 years after the terrible genocide in 1994, the effects are omnipresent. Many are powerless to see the future.
Through the tireless work of Denise and Dr. Wolfgang Reinhard we learn about the situation of the people there and decide to help the people there. Through various activities such as the talent auction at the FEG Detmold and donations, finances are generated which enable the people there to be encouraged and to look ahead positively. With us people from Germany come to you and let them move away from the opinion “I can’t do anything valuable and am lost here in no man’s land” over the years.
In this campaign we help to repair or rebuild houses damaged by an earthquake.
